[TRANS/ARTICLE] 170617 Oh Daehwan X Tae Hangho X Sungjoo, tvN “Living Up To One’s Name” Appearance Confirmed

Actors Oh Daehwan, Tae Hangho and UNIQ member Kim Sungjoo will be appearing on tvN’s upcoming weekend drama “Living Up To One’s Name”. (Written by Kim Eun-hee, directed by Hong Jong-chan)

According to insiders on the 17th, Oh Daehwan, Tae Hangho and Kim Sungjoo attended the script reading session on the 16th. This fantasy medical drama explores a 17th century Joseon medical practitioner who travels through time to the 21st century and encounters a modern-day doctor. 

“Living Up To One’s Name” will be directed by Hong Jong Chan, of “Dear My Friends” fame, while the script will be written by Kim Eun Hee, known for MBC’s “The Queen’s Classroom.” It will premiere in August, following the end of “Forest of Secrets” (tentative title). Kim Nam Gil and Kim Ah Joong are confirmed to be appearing in “Living Up To One’s Name” and are both regarded as highly anticipated in the upcoming tvN drama. 

Sungjoo will be playing the role of Kim Min-jae, who is a 2nd year resident of Sinhye Hospital. On the other hand, “Living Up To One’s Name” is scheduled to be broadcast in August.
