Sungjoo, making an appearance from ‘The Liar and His Lover’ → ‘Live Up To Your Name’… Colleague chemistry with Kim Ah Joong

Singer and actor Sungjoo talked about his first TVN new weekend drama ‘Live Up To Your Name’. 

‘Live Up To Your Name’ (written by Kim Eun-hee / Director Hong Jong-chan) is about a male representative living in the 17th century named Heo Im (starring Kim Nam Gil) and Choi Yeon-kyung (starring Kim Ah Joong) who is a 21-year-old female doctor in the 21st century, which talks about a transport-turned-through drama that transcends over space and time.

Sungjoo will be playing as a 2nd year resident surgeon named Kim Min-jae who will appear as a colleague of Kim Ah Joong, a visual doctor who looks best in his white gown.

On the 10th, Sungjoo has released a picture of the scene where he was reading a script while wearing a doctor's gown on his SNS, hence raising expectations for his upcoming work.

It said “’Live Up To Your Name’ is finally having its first broadcast the day after tomorrow ^^ I’ve been working hard to show everyone the different sides of me, however I’m not sure whether those efforts made will reach out to you haha. As I enjoyed filming on set so please anticipate ‘Live Up To Your Name’ lots~ It’s really interesting haha” and has expressed anticipation towards its first broadcast. 

Sungjoo has emerged as a male actor in his twenties through the previous tvN drama ‘The Liar and His Lover’. It is noteworthy that he will be able to establish his position as a next generation actor through ‘Live Up To Your Name’. The show will be having its first broadcast on the 12th.
