[TRANS/ARTICLE] 170405 UNIQ Seungyoun reattempts “Show Me The Money 6”, expectations towards the growth of a rapper

Idol group UNIQ (Sungjoo, Seungyoun, Wenhan, Zhou Yixuan, Yibo) member Seungyoun has decided to challenge Mnet rapper survival competition “Show Me The Money 6” again. 

According to insiders in the music industry on the 5th, it was revealed that Seungyoun has recently submitted his application to participate on “Show Me The Money 6”, a year after standing on “Show Me The Money” stage. 

During the end of July last year, Seungyoun has been selected to the 3rd preliminary round of 1-to-1 battle on “Show Me The Money 5”, showing rapping skills from an idol member. Seungyoun received a pass from Mad Clown during the 2nd preliminary round of 60 seconds. He went on a battle together with Flowsik, at the same time showing his full potential on stage. After losing to Flowsik, he has regrettably being eliminated from “Show Me The Money 5”. 

Seungyoun is once again being a challenger for “Show Me The Money 6” and present his growth image as a rapper and show awareness as a producer. 

Seungyoun has previously debuted under a Chinese-Korean boy group UNIQ in 2015 and has released their digital single “Falling In Love”, their 1st mini album “EOEO” and many more. After being eliminated, Seungyoun has collaborated with Flowsik and released “Recipe”, his solo single “Baby Ride” etc, expanding his musician image as a solo rapper and songwriter. 

In addition, it has been confirmed that Zico and Dean will be one of the producers for “Show Me The Money 6”, meanwhile Oltii, Punchnello, Hanhae, Junoflo, Hash Swan and other “high class rappers” are expected to participate in the show as well.
