[NEWS] 151016 #UNIQ to commemorate their 1st anniversary of their debut with "Best Friend" MV with a double version tearful release

On 16th October 2014, Asia’s Popular Idol Group UNIQ officially debuted, after going through 1400 days of meticulous polishing, the 5 of them with the average age of 19 years old youths, uniquely sweeping through China, Korean, Japan, Thailand and till the other parts of Asia.

On 16th October 2015, for the occasion of their 1st anniversary debut, UNIQ released a memento single “Best Friend”, with a fresh yet rich rhythm of melody, following “Luv Again” up to be the next latest sweet and heart-warming song with full of sincerity. “Best Friend” is a completed piece made by both UNIQ members Zhou Yixuan and Li Wenhan, both of them also didn’t use any flowery languages, genuinely described the 5 of them since the time they met, till where they struggled together, through the bits and pieces where they experience laughter and tears together, just like a picture filled with memories that surfaced in front of the eyes that touches hearts.

Starting from that time where Leader Zhou Yixuan used that “greasy”phrase “Welcome to UNIQ”, the 5 boys who came from China, Korea where both different countries, languages, culture which are not quite interlink embarking on a common path of life. Both sides who were the “little princes” at home, leaving their homes to make their dreams in becoming reality. They have all gotten angry with each other, having doubts, causing lots of trouble together, even to the point of giving up. Looking back over those 2000 days and nights, leaving either the most or precious thing, is the agreement and commitment of both sides that keep on going forward together. In the MV of “Best Friend”, the 5 fresh youths relying on each other, playing and joking with each other, blowing bubbles, skateboarding, playing with firecrackers, no deliberate performances, everything is just so precious and wonderful.

On this day which UNIQ have their 1st birthday, other than expressing the feelings of closeness between the 5 of them, it’s all the more the deep bond with all UNICORN. “You who are always by my side, you are my best friend”, fans who love them by protecting UNIQ and moving forward step-by-step, and when depression and frustration surfaces, or when extreme fatigue comes, when we face the storm together, this love will be particularly precious. With a new year as a new starting point, in hopes that 10 years, 20 years in the future, will forever not be separated.
